For those with time and who want to see (almost) nothing of the country, here's a more comprehensive itinerary. In addition to the classic tour, you'll visit the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world, the Ai-Ais thermal area, the spectacular Richtersveld area, and the coastal town of Luderitz and Diaz Point.

Day 1: Arrival at Hosea Kutako Airport in Windhoek

Arrival at Windhoek's Hosea Kutako Airport. A representative from African Footprints Tours CC will welcome you, provide you with travel documents, and assist you with the vehicle collection process. Overnight stay and breakfast

Day 2: Kalahari Namibia

Your tour begins today! You'll head south and pass through Rehoboth to reach the Kalahari Desert. Dinner, overnight, and breakfast

Day 3: Fish River Canyon

You'll pass through Gibeon and Keetmanshoop, visiting the Quiver Tree Forest, before reaching your lodge near Fish River Canyon. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast.

Day 4: Fish River Canyon

Spend the day visiting the second largest canyon in the world, the Fish River Canyon, along with the Ai-Ais Hot Springs and the Huns Mountains. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast.

Day 5: Luderitz

Day 6: Luderitz

Day 7: Sossusvlei

You'll continue your journey north, passing through Aus and the majestic Tiras Mountains, arriving in the Sesriem area of the Namib Desert, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning landscapes. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast at

Day 8: Sossusvlei

Quad bike excursions, scenic flights, and hot air balloon safaris over the Namib Desert are some of the activities organized on site upon request. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast.

Day 9: Swakopmund

Today you'll continue north to reach the Skeleton Coast! You'll arrive in Swakopmund, a coastal town founded by German settlers in 1892. With its pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, it's the country's main holiday resort. Overnight stay and breakfast.

Day 10: Swakopmund

You can spend today relaxing on the beach, exploring the town, or simply having fun, as Swakopmund is also famous for its many activities: skydiving, sandboarding, quad biking, desert horseback riding, hot air ballooning, and scenic flights! There's something for everyone! Bed and breakfast.

Day 11: Twyfelfontein

You'll drive north to reach the Damaraland region. You can pass Cape Cross to observe the Cape fur seal colony, then continue along the Skeleton Coast. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast

Day 12: Twyfelfontein

Today you'll visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where rock carvings left by the Bushmen are still clearly visible. The Burnt Mountain, the Organ Pipes, and the Petrified Forest are other sites you can visit. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast.

Day 13: Etosha National Park
