Do you want to have a real safari experience?
Born and raised in Milan, Italy, my passion for nature and animals has been with me since childhood. I held several jobs but none rewarded me enough so why not follow my passion and fly to Africa?
Said and done! I drop everything and although my poor English skills worried me, I set off in the direction of South Africa to attend the accredited safari guide course.
South Africa and Namibia were the first countries where I had the privilege to start working, followed by other field experiences in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and finally Tanzania and Kenya.

Why go on safari with me?

My philosophy
For me, safari is not just spectacular sightings and photos to show, but a deep, sensory and respectful experience. I choose small groups (max. 6 people), local operators and facilities committed to environmental protection, to offer an authentic and conscious trip, with full respect for nature and animals.
My safari is an authentic experience of shared silences, deep respect for nature and intimate moments around the campfire. I avoid intrusive practices to spot animals and prefer to behave as attentive guests in the wilderness. Each itinerary is experienced firsthand and designed to let you discover Africa with gentleness, awareness and wonder.
My philosophy
My idea of Safari also means having a particular group experience by being silent, just enjoying the moment...there is a fine balance between what to say and when to say it. My instructor in South Africa used to repeat "if you cannot beat the beauty of silence then don't say anything" Silence is a powerful means of communication that is often overlooked.
Fire is also a key aspect of a safari in Africa...those who know me know how important it is to me...you will find it lit in every camp or lodge where you spend the night, it has absolute value in my safari philosophy....sitting around the fire and admiring the flames is a natural medicine to clear the mind of any thoughts and to put us at peace with the world. My philosophy puts "the safari experience" first (which is why some parks I have decided not to offer it), which is not doing anything to see the big 5...throwing rocks into a bush to make the leopard come out, invading an animal's comfort space to take a better picture, calling out a lion by imitating its roarbut if anything, stopping for a few minutes to let a herd of elephants cross, not leaving the tracks because you spotted an animal in the distance...more simply behaving as guests in an unfamiliar environment.
Each itinerary I propose has been carefully researched and personally traveled, some many times, some less, but still always safaris lived and experienced firsthand. Together we can build a tailor-made itinerary that takes you to discover Africa on tiptoe, with your eyes open and your heart wide open.
